Thankful Birds
Before I show you today’s card, I have a Public Service Announcement. I am out of town for two weeks. Mike has a class this week in Georgia, and I tagged along for a week of relaxing. I’m looking forward to stamping a little, sitting in the sun, and reading.
I managed to get a few cards made before we left, and scheduled them ahead of time. But I’m not sure how much I’ll get done while I’m away, so you may only hear from me on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for the next two weeks. I’ll try to post more, but I won’t promise. After Mike’s class, we’re heading to Florida for another week, and Wes and Amelia are meeting us there. I can’t wait to see how much she enjoys the beach and to hear all about her first airplane ride.
For today, though, I have a beautiful card from Sandy Moriarty, my dear friend and downline. We’ve been in a swap together for over a year, and this is Sandy’s latest swap.
Sandy used the new Free as a Bird Stamp Set from the 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up!© Annual Catalog for her swap, and you can purchase it beginning tomorrow, June 4, 2019! It’s such a fun set, and it coordinates with the Stitched Nested Labels Dies. (You can see one of the dies in this card.) If you bundle the stamp set and dies, you can save 10%.
Sandy used Stampin’ Blends to color the birds, and they are so adorable! I love the way she added some Balmy Blue sky around them. She has always been a master at watercoloring, and she’s even more amazing with the Stampin’ Blends.
Behind the birds is some Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the Occasions Catalog. It was very popular DSP, and, sadly, it has all sold out. However, there are gorgeous new papers in the new Annual Catalog; you’re going to love them! I want every pack.
Free as a Bird is part of the Bird Ballad Suite. This year, Stampin’ Up!® has indexed all the elements of a suite on one page, and you can order the entire suite of products with just one catalog number. Suite, er, sweet! If you don’t want it all, though, you can still purchase items separately.
Thanks, Sandy, for this gorgeous card! And, thank you, my crafting friend, for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
