Do Something Creative
One of my favorite current Stampin’ Up!® stamp sets (and it’s returning for the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog!) is Crafting Forever. I love the images and the sentiments. Plus, there’s a copyright stamp, so it’s an Angel Policy stamp as well.
I had so much fun creating this card. I love to watercolor, so this was more therapeutic than work. I stamped the crock of brushes using Jet Black StazOn Ink, then colored with an Aqua Painter and Classic Stampin’ Pads. I used the new Terracotta Tile Classic Stampin’ Pad for the crock, then a little Pretty Peacock, Smoky Slate, Crushed Curry, and more. I just grabbed colors for the brushes. (Note: The new Classic Stampin’ Pad cases are a little smaller and stiffer than the old ones. It may be harder to squeeze with your fingers to get ink in the lid. If it’s not working for you, try placing the pad between your palms and squeezing that way. It works so much better!)
At the end of Stampin’ Up!® OnStage a few weeks ago, all attendees were give the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper. This is so fun, because it has a shimmer on some of the designs. It really does look like tile. I decided to use a piece of this for the background under my brushes and sentiment. It picks up the theme of the sentiment, don’t you think?
The sentiment is also from the Crafting Forever Stamp Set. I stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, then punched with the Everyday Label Punch. It looked a little blah, so I sponged the edges with a little more Terracotta Tile.
If you sell your creations, you’ll definitely want the Crafting Forever Stamp Set. Not only does it help you keep the Angel Policy by stamping a copyright on your projects, but it has great images for your art.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
Product List (note: Since the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Terracotta Tile Classic Stamp Pad and Cardstock aren’t available yet, they won’t appear in the product list.)
I have this stamp set and haven’t used it yet so thanks so much for the idea! Very pretty!

Thanks, Deborah! I love the terracotta. I usually use Cajun Craze, but I think I like the Terracotta better for this. (Well, it IS a terracotta pot, right?)
