Meet the 2019-2021 Stampin’ Up!® In Colors

I am in love with the new 2019-2021 Stampin’ Up!® In Colors. As sad as I am to see Lemon Lime Twist retire, I do like the new ones.

Here’s a peek at the new colors and some of the current colors in the same color “families.”

Stampin' Up!, 2019-2021 In Colors, Terracotta Tile

This is Terracotta Tile. You may know the Pantone Color of the Year is Living Coral. Terracotta Tile is very close to that. You can see in the photo that it’s very close to Calypso Coral, but not quite as bright. I added Petal Pink into the mix, because, even though it’s a “pink,” there are enough common undertones between the two colors that they will pair very nicely together. I’m going to love the Terracotta Tile/Cajun Craze, Petal Pink combination.

Stampin' Up!, 2019-2021 In Colors, Pretty Peacock

This is Pretty Peacock. Although it is very close to the retiring Tranquil Tide, you can see it has a lot more blue in it. You can especially see that when you compare it with a green like Garden Green or Call Me Clover; the blue really stands out.

Most of the colors I paired it with here are blues, and I love Pretty Peacock with Pool Party and Coastal Cabana. It’s also beautiful with Mint Macaron.

Stampin' Up!, 2019-2021 In Colors, Rococo Rose

Rococo Rose is a lovely vintage pink. Even though it won’t share a catalog with the retiring Powder Pink, they are lovely together. If you save retired colors, hang on to Powder Pink! I love the way you can get a totally different look by pairing it with Petal Pink or Blushing Bride. Rococo Rose definitely fills a pink spot that we didn’t have.

Stampin' Up!, 2019-2021 In Colors, Seaside Spray

Here is Seaside Spray. It’s more of a gray-blue, as you can see when it’s next to Balmy Blue. It’s going to be lovely with Blueberry Bushel and Night of Navy. It’s also nice with Smoky Slate and Basic Gray, especially for masculine cards, or with the new Come Sail Away suite.

Stampin' Up!, 2019-2021 In Colors, Purple Posy

Finally, we have Purple Posy. Again, this fills a hole in our purples! It’s beautiful with Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather for a nice spring or summer card. But it also works well with Rich Razzleberry or Blackberry Bliss (top left) for fall and winter cards.

These colors are going to be fun to work with in the next two years. They’ll be available to purchase beginning June 4. Remember, if you’re loving the 2017-2019 In Colors (Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, and Tranquil Tide) be sure to order them now before they’re gone. You can see all the products that will be retiring June 4 (or until supplies are depleted) as well as the updated Clearance Rack in my online store.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
