Stencil in Silver
I have one more card for you using my DIY Detailed Floral Thinlits stencil. This time, I used the Silver Embossing Paste for a totally different look.
I love the silver paste with this stencil. I created it exactly like the cards yesterday (you can see them here), but I used the silver paste on Whisper White Cardstock. Just a reminder, though – the silver paste takes a little longer to dry. I forgot and set something on top of it before it was totally dry, so it got a bit smudged, but I’m ok with that. It gives it a 3-D kind of look.
After it dried, I stamped the sentiment from the Floral Phrases Stamp Set on the bottom of the Whisper White layer with Berry Burst Classic Stampin’ Ink. I tied a piece of Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon around the Whisper White Layer, then added it all to a Berry Burst card base.
The Floral Phrases Stamp Set coordinates with the Detailed Floral Thinlits dies, and it’s a great set for weddings, anniversaries, and, of course, thank you notes. I used this set for my parents’ anniversary one year.
I haven’t had time to arrange all the details for you, but Stampin’ Up!® will be offering storage for Stampin’ Blends, Stampin’ Write Markers, Classic Stampin’ Pads, ink refills, and more! Stay tuned for more information. The products will be available April 1 and they will be in the upcoming Annual Catalog. So exciting!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
