Pineapple, Clover, and Painted Seasons

Pineapple, Clover, and Painted Seasons

Welcome back, Stamping friends! I don’t want to raise false hopes, but according to my weather app, Spring may be finally on the way! The temperatures look lovely, but we may have snow showers one day. I think the temperatures on the days around that day are warm enough that it will be more like rain than snow. (That’s such good news. The mud in our yard was starting to dry out; I’m so glad it will be re-hydrated! Yes, I’m kidding. I think we’ve had mud – as well as a little lake – in our yard for over a year.)

To celebrate spring, here’s a fresh, bright card for you.

Itty Bitty Wishes, Stampin' Up!

I needed to use the Stitched Label I cut from the free Stampin’ Up! Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (DSP) in yesterday’s card (you can see it here), so that was the basis for today. You can earn this paper free with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration.

I embossed a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Pineapple Punch Cardstock using the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and layered it to a Whisper White card base. Then I cut a 2-1/2″ square of Call Me Clover Designer Series Paper from the 2018-2020 In Color DSP Stack, then cut it diagonally in half and added it to the corners of the card.

I used the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies again to die-cut two small labels. The sentiments are from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set, and they’re stamped in Call Me Clover Classic Ink.

After I added the die-cut label to the center of the card, I adhered the sentiment labels. The final touch is a little piece of Pineapple Punch 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon. I tied it in a knot, then adhered it to the label with a Glue Dot.

Even though I think this is the “fall” paper from the Painted Seasons DSP, I love the bright colors. It’s really perfect for any season or occasion. I have discovered that I’m needing more Get Well cards lately. The need drives the sentiment for me these days.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
