Birthday Wishes

Happy Wednesday, Stamping Friends! First, I want to apologize for Monday’s video. If you haven’t seen it, it was sideways. Hope no one has a stiff neck today. Today I downloaded several apps (then discarded most of them), discovered you can’t rotate videos with the YouTube editing button any more, and edited the video with another app that let me launch it to YouTube. Yay! – right? Um…no. It launched, but apparently not to my channel. I can’t find it anywhere, so the original is still out there, sideways and weird.

I have too much of my mother (and father!) in me to quit. I am determined to conquer this video thing. I will keep learning and (hopefully) one day will amaze and inspire! In the meantime…

I’m loving the Stampin’ Up!® Painted Seasons Bundle from the Sale-a-bration Second Release. There are so many fun color combinations in the Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the stamp set is amazing. (It coordinates really well with the March Paper Pumpkin kit!) Oh – and the bundle (Painted Seasons Stamp Set and DSP) is free with a $100 order. You can also earn just the DSP with a $50 order. And you’re definitely going to want this DSP, so go ahead and create an order now.

I created this card today. It’s a CASE of one from Sue Andrews Bernier. I changed a few things, but the layout and design is Sue’s.

Sale-a-bration, Stampin' Up!, Painted Seasons, More Than Words

How fun are those succulents? I inked them with Call Me Clover Classic Ink, then used a Sponge Dauber to add Early Espresso ink to the centers of the flowers before stamping on Whisper White Cardstock. Then I diecut them with the Four Seasons Framelits Dies – which are a Sale-a-bration Coordination item that you can purchase through March 31 or while supplies last.

I used one of the Stitched Framelits Dies to diecut the center of a piece of the Painted Seasons DSP and adhered it to a Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from More Than Words – another Sale-a-bration Coordination product that you can purchase this month – in the center of the frame negative using Poppy Parade Classic Ink, then added the flowers back in.

I love how the succulents are all different even though I used the same inks, stamp, and technique. And I have a little stitched frame to use on another card.

Just a quick reminder – if there are products you love and don’t think you can live without, you should order today. Many of the original Sale-a-bration items are already gone (the Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack, Grapefruit Grove & Lovely Lipstick Foil Sheets, Butterfly Elements, and Precious Parcel Card Kit) and the Call Me Cupcake and Hop Around Framelits Dies from the Sale-a-bration Coordination products are also sold out. You can order online or send me your order (but if it’s under $69.50, it won’t be entered until this weekend. Don’t miss out!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping With Buffy! Have a lovely day.

I do love succulents too, Buffy! Your colouring is beautiful. Those mushrooms on the dsp – my gosh, are we headed back to the ’70s, was it? Remember when those red mushrooms were all the rage?! Everything old becomes ‘new’ again, doesn’t it? (I refuse to bring back shag carpet!)
