Best Ever Sale-a-bration Card
I hope you’re enjoying the Stampin’ Up!® Sale-a-bration (SAB). Six weeks into SAB this year – on February 15 – three more products were added to the Sale-a-bration mix. The second release includes the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, the All Adorned Stamp Set, and the Painted Seasons Bundle (a level two product) that includes the Painted Seasons Stamp Set and Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper (DSP).
Today’s card is a CASE (copy and share everything) from my friend Christy Fulk. I think I changed the colors a bit, but Christy’s card, using the Painted Seasons Stamp Set from the bundle, was so perfect, I couldn’t change much.
The Painted Seasons Stamp Set is a DistINKtive set. See all the little shadows and color variations that make it look lifelike? So fun!
To create this card, stamp the sentiment from the All Adorned Stamp Set onto the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White layer using Basic Gray Classic Ink. Then, simply tap the larger flower on a Gorgeous Grape Classic Stampin’ Pad then stamp onto the Whisper White Cardstock as shown. Don’t press the stamp into the pad or mush it as hard as you can; just a light “tap, tap, tap” on top of the pad should be enough. (I always do a practice stamp on scrap paper first.) Stamp this image three times. Repeat the process with the smaller flower and a Grapefruit Grove Classic Stampin’ Pad.
Next, stamp the leaves. I didn’t want a really long stem, so I placed the leaf on my acrylic block so that part of it was off the edge. When I inked the stamp using a Mint Macaron Classic Stampin’ Pad, I made sure the part off the block didn’t get inked. It worked really well.
Last, I added the little stamp in Smoky Slate. I think those are snowflakes (this is a four season stamp set!), but they work as little flowers or background filler as well. Adhere the Whisper White layer to a Mint Macaron card base.
Isn’t that beautiful? Here’s one more look so you don’t have to scroll.
Thanks, Christy Fulk, for the inspiration! This is a great #simplestamping card using only stamps, ink, and paper.
And thank you for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Thanks, Deborah! I only changed one color, I think, from the original. The rest is all Christy F!

Thanks, Susan! (Grape and Grapefruit. Totally different colors and fruits, but lovely together, especially with a little Mint!) 🙂
