Bubbling Over with Thanks

This is a fun card using the Bubbling Over stamp set from the Stampin’ Up!® 2018-19 Annual Catalog. What a super easy card for new stampers to create in a class!

This card uses only two colors of cardstock, three colors of ink, and a little bit of foil. If you use the Very Vanilla Note Cards and Envelopes, you don’t even need to cut any paper for the card base.

Details

First, die- cut the bottles from Soft Suede Cardstock using the Bottles and Bubbles Framelits Dies. Then sponge a bit of Early Espresso Ink along the edges. From a scrap of Very Vanilla Cardstock, die-cut the labels from the bottles, then stamp the sentiments in Merry Merlot and Early Espresso. The final die-cuts are the bottle caps. Since the framelits have two dies for the caps in both the large and small sizes, you can die-cut both at one time from the Copper Foil Sheets.

Adhere the labels to the bottles and the bottle cap to one. Set the second bottle cap aside. Stamp the circle star along the bottom of the card using Merry Merlot ink. Stamp once in full strength ink, then stamp the next without re-inking the stamp. Continue until you have a nice star border.

Without adhering, place the bottles on the card to get an idea for the placement of the bubbles. Stamp them in Smoky Slate. Adhere the bottles to the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add the bottle cap using a Glue Dot.

This is a quick and simple Thank You card. While you have the Bottles and Bubbles Framelits out, you might as well make multiples of this card to have on hand. You can substitute birthday sentiments and have some fun birthday cards. If you use the Stamparatus to stamp the labels in the die-cut “stencil,” it’s very quick and you’ll get a perfect label every time.
