Special Announcements from Stampin’ Up!

Special Announcements from Stampin’ Up!®

Sales for the following products have exceeded Stampin’Up!®’s forecasting and are continuing strong, resulting in a large number of backorders. Because backorders are so costly, they have made the decision to shut these items off effective immediately. Since these products cannot be sent from the manufacturer in time for the holidays, these item numbers will not be reactivated.

147816: Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper
147890: Festive Farmhouse Elements
147811: Santa’s Workshop Enamel Elements

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. In order to provide you with another holiday-themed option,  Stampin’ Up!® decided to make the promotional Dashing Along Designer Series Paper (item 149903) available for sale at ($11.00 USD/$15.00 CAD). This beautiful, 12″ x 12″ traditional Christmas paper has a festive, eclectic feel and is perfect for layering. Coordinating colors are Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, and Whisper White.

Though we don’t yet have a fulfillment date, all backorders for Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper, Festive Farmhouse Elements, and Santa’s Workshop Enamel Elements will be filled as soon as possible.

Good News

Here’s some good news!

We’re testing a new Shop by Project option in our online store that should make shopping for project supplies a little easier for you. In addition to featuring fun project ideas (and their accompanying supply lists), this new ordering option allows you to pick and choose only the items you need to complete a project and add those items to your cart—all without leaving the page!

The Shop by Project option will be available until December 31, 2018; however, depending on feedback, it may become a more permanent fixture in our online store. So check it out! It makes it super easy to create your favorite designs! Of course, while you’re there, you can add other products to your order as well. I may need to add some adhesive.

Can you believe I came to Stampin’ Up!® OnStage and forgot to bring adhesive for my Make & Takes? This is the first time I’ve ever done that. Usually I bring everything on the list they send us and more. This time, I didn’t even bring adhesive and Paper Snips. To be fair, though, I was supervising a preschooler while I was packing, and we had so much stuff in the trunk, I’m not sure there was room for anything more. Usually when we travel, we use my Expedition. I love my car/truck! About a year ago, the engine blew up. We had a new one put in, and everything was going well. Mike bought fancy new lights for it, we had it painted, got a new radio and a back-up camera (I need all the help I can get!), and were planning to take it on our trip.

A few weeks ago, it “threw a rod,” whatever that means. I think it’s bad, though, because we can’t drive it until it’s fixed. Again. More good news – it’s under warranty, so we don’t have to pay for it a second time. Yay! The downside – we’re in Mike’s car. While it’s wonderfully comfortable, it was a tinch crowded on the way down. Of course, we had two bags of activities (coloring books, crayons, pencils, assorted toys and books), a large snack bag, and Katelyn’s and Wesley’s luggage (they flew down later to meet us since Wes had to work Sunday). Hopefully we’ll use a LOT of the things we brought with us (snacks, food, paper towels) and there will be more room, because we’ll have two more people in the car. Should be a fun bonding time on the way home.

Meanwhile, here are a few pictures of Amelia. This is her first trip to Florida, her first long road trip, her first stay in a motel (Sunday night), and her first time to Disney. She’s excited! I took these at the welcome center.

She loved the “Jazz Dolphin.”

This guy is a little big, but she still wanted her picture taken with him. Who knows, maybe she’ll be the first one in our family to go into space.

She was a wonderful little traveler. I was so proud of her. We were all happy to be out of the car Monday afternoon, though.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
