Country Home Thanks
By the time you read this, I’ll be almost to Florida for Stampin’ Up!® OnStage Live in Orlando. I can’t wait. Mike & I drove down with Amelia Sunday; Wes & Katelyn will fly down later today. Mike excited about going to Epcot with them on Wednesday. The kids have Disney tickets for Thursday as well. Mike is looking forward to a day all to himself and I’ll be at the convention center for OnStage. We usually have to wait to show pictures from events, but this time, we can share right away. That’s so exciting! So watch for updates this week!
This is one of the last cards I made at Craft Day a couple weeks ago. It’s another fairly quick one. I stamped the can, flowers, and sentiment from the Stampin’ Up!® Holiday Catalog Country Home stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. The I colored the image (except for the cotton blossoms) with ink pads and an Aqua Painter. For the cotton, I used a White Stampin’ Chalk Marker. I love the look of white on Crumb Cake Cardstock.
After I colored everything, I adhered the Crumb Cake layer to a Pacific Point card base. Easy!
Country Home is probably my favorite set in the Holiday Catalog. I love the vintage elements in it. You can, of course, step up this card with ribbon and embellishments. And it is lovely when you stamp the can and flowers two times, then fussy cut one can and a few flowers and add them back to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I didn’t do any of that since this was one of my “quick and easy” cards.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Please check in this week for sneak peeks at Stampin’ Up!® products that will be available to demonstrators in December and customers in January! Have a lovely day.
