Mother’s Day Vases
I had the best Mother’s Day. All my kids (except Adrianna) were here, and I got the most amazing cards. All of them were so fun, but when I saw the card from Katelyn and Wesley, I knew I had to recreate it. It was gorgeous! Here’s my recreation.
I used the new Varied Vases Stamp Set and the Vase Builder Punch for this card. If you’re a demonstrator, you can order the stamps and punch now (or the bundle, if you want to save 10%). Everyone else can order it June 1.
This bundle was inspired by Mary Fish, one of our $1,000,000 achievers. A million in sales is a big deal – and Mary hasn’t been a demonstrator very long. That’s amazing!
Here are the details.
I used Berry Burst and Color Me Clover Classic Stampin’ Pads to ink the flower stamp outline. Color Me Clover is a new In Color for 2018-19, but you can order it now through the Share What You Love Early Release. ) Then I stamped the inside flowers in Blushing Bride. I repeated the process on a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock, and cut it out so I could layer it with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the original. My card from Katelyn & Wesley was very dimensional, and it was gorgeous! (Oh, wait. I said that already. Can you tell I loved it? The other cards were cute and hilarious, and I will recreate them – or, at least, one of them – later!)
I stamped the leaves in Color Me Clover. The outline image is full strength, and the inside fill is stamped off one time.
To create the vase, I simply punched a vase from the Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack (the Berry Burst one; but, sadly, this has sold out.). And finally, I stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst, and added some Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the centers of the flowers. These are available now in the “A Little More Please” and “I want it all!” bundles in the early release of the Share What You Love Suite. You can also order them separately in June.
I added the card to another Whisper White layer, then to a Berry Burst card base. I love this clean & simple card. (Who knew I could do clean and simple with a little inspiration?)
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

Thanks, Jackie! Cutting the flowers was surprisingly easy. (Of course, I enjoy it, so maybe that’s why.)
