It’s a Beautiful Day
This was a lovely day! Mike and I took our time returning home from Williamsburg. We did lots of shopping, stopped for a late lunch/early dinner, and just enjoyed the trip. It was so fun just to spend time together.
Of course, any day I get to spend time crafting is a beautiful day! Here’s one of my favorite cards with the Love What You Do Stamp set. This is a new set in the 2018-19 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog, but you can order it now during the Share What You Love Early Release.
The Details
Stamp the background on Very Vanilla Cardstock in Powder Pink Classic Ink. Then stamp the flowers in Basic Black Archival Ink. Stamp the sentiment in Lovely Lipstick Classic ink. Lovely Lipstick is one of the new 2018-20 In Colors, and you can also order all five new In Color Classic Stampin’ Pads now during the Share What You Love Early Release promotion.
Color the flowers using Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo Classic Stampin’ Pads and a Blender Pen, the color the stems with Call Me Clover Classic Ink and a Blender Pen. Call Me Clover is another 2018-20 In Color, and it’s gorgeous!
Sponge the edges of the Very Vanilla Cardstock with more Lovely Lipstick Classic Stampin’ ink, then add a strip of Lovely Lipstick Cardstock under the right side of the stamped layer. The cardstock is only available now if you’re a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, but everyone can order it beginning June 1.
The Pearlized Doily on the card is another element in the Share What You Love Early Release. These are beautiful, and you’re going to love them! The last touch was to add a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls to the card. These are also available in the Early Release. In fact, everything on this card (except the ink) is in the “A Little More, Please” bundle. The artisan pearls are so pretty; you’re going to want to order the bundle just for these!
Add all the elements on the card to a Powder Pink card base and you have a lovely card that’s ready to send for multiple occasions. This could easily be a congratulations card, a birthday or wedding card, or simply a note card to send a quick message to a friend.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a beautiful day!
