Exotic In Colors – Order them Now
As the 2017-18 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog sales period is winding down, you need to start thinking about purchasing those products you love. We know that the 2016-18 In Colors will be retiring, as well as most of the Designer Series Paper and many ribbons and embellishments (specifically those with the retiring In Colors).
Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators all over the world will be attending OnStage events in early April, and we will get a look at the new catalog. Even though the official retiring list will be released later, those of us who see the catalog will know what’s staying and what’s retiring. After that, there’s absolutely no guarantee if retiring products will be available for purchase. Retiring stamp sets are usually guaranteed through sometime in May, but other products are while supplies last.
Products that often sell out first are the retiring In Colors. I love the 2016-18 In Colors – Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy, Sweet Sugarplum, and Dapper Denim. And there’s a reason I call them “exotic.” Don’t you think those names describe, um, “exotic dancers?”
The Exotics
First we have Flirty Flamingo. She’s a sassy lady, with lots of plumes and boas. But this saucy, flirty wench never goes beyond the line of what’s proper. She may skirt close to the line, but she never crosses it.
And then there’s the shy Peekaboo Peach. She’s quietly watching the others, but don’t underestimate her. She is more wise and knowing than you might give her credit for. She may peek from behind the curtain, but when she’s on stage, she’s a powerhouse.
Emerald Envy is the sophisticated lady in the group. Pearls are her favorite accessory, and she is bold enough to hold her own with other colors. Dancing is just what she does to work her way through school. She’ll be a brain surgeon one day.
Sweet Sugarplum is quiet and demure, but she works really well with other colors – especially the berries. She’s the “Gypsy Rose Lee” of the group, teasing you with her dropped glove.
And finally, Dapper Denim. He’s the “Chippendale” of the group. He’s the perfect complement for most other colors. He’s too bold to be a “neutral,” but he makes other colors stand out. That’s why he’s so dapper and charming. He works with the other colors to make a statement.
Order them Today!
After two years of hard work, these colors deserve a small break. There are a few (specifically Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy, followed closely by Dapper Denim) that I’m hoping will one day make it to the “Core Line-up,” but until then, be sure you order them today or you could miss out. They’re available in Ink, Cardstock, Designer Series Paper, Ribbon, Embellishments, and more. You can order 24/7 from my online store.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!

That is quite a dance line-up you have there. Love it!! I hope they will be on stage at a show house near me. I agree. My hope is at least Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim come back soon.
