Ecclectic Expressions for a Stamp-Off
It’s time for another Stamp-Off with Susan, Jackie, and me! This week is a sketch challenge.
How fun is that? There are so many things I could have used for the circles, but I decided to use circles. (Very original, right?)
I thought this design of the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper (DSP) would be perfect with the circles from the new Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration stamp set, Ecclectic Expressions. I layered the DSP over Garden Green Cardstock, then to a Soft Sky card base to pull in colors from the DSP. To cover the seam, I added a skinny strip from the opposite side of the DSP.
You’re going to love the new Ecclectic Expressions Stamp Set. It’s a new Level 1 Sale-a-bration item, and you can have it free with a $50 order during Sale-a-bration. There are so many fun images that will add texture to your images. There are also two sentiment stamps – Happy Birthday and Thank You – which are the two that I use the most.
I stamped the circles in Pear Pizzazz, Early Espresso, and Soft Sky, then punched with 1″ and a 1/2″ circle punches. The sketch doesn’t call for a sentiment, but I added one anyway. I stamped the Happy Birthday in Garden Green Classic Ink, then filled in with a Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker. Since I stamped on a scrap, there was just enough room for the sentiment, so I cut the banner freehand.
I can’t wait to see what Jackie & Susan have created this week. The first thing I do on Stamp-Off Fridays is check their blogs. Take a few minutes to check out their creations. I know they’d also appreciate a comment, if you’d like to leave one!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
Circles! Now why didn’t I think of that. Very cute card, Buffy!

Ha ha. Sarcasm. I love it. Yeah – I went with the obvious this time.

I wanted to use the new set, so went with a pretty literal take. I’ll step up my game next time.
