Blossoming Basket with Springtime Foils

Blossoming Basket with Springtime Foils

I did it! I sneaked this card away from Miss Amelia long enough to get it photographed. I used two of the new Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration products – Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Blossoming Basket Bundle.

Look at that lovely basket weave! It’s such a deep and gorgeous impression since it’s a dynamic embossing folder.

I stamped the basket of flowers in Basic Gray Archival Ink, then colored with Blushing Bride, Emerald Envy, Garden Green, and Tranquil Tide Classic Pads and a Blender Pen. Then I used my Paper Snips to fussy cut the image.

The butterfly and tag are also stamped in Basic Gray on Whisper White. Trust me, they’re way easier to fussy cut than the basket.

I decided to color the leaves on the DSP using the Dark Olive Green Stampin’ Blends Marker. Then I used a Sponge Brayer to color over the entire panel to tone the white down a bit. You probably wouldn’t even notice this unless it was right beside the original paper, because it’s quite light.

These are fabulous products, and you can get them free! The Springtime Foils Specialty DSP is a Level 1 item, so you can earn it with a $50 order. The Blossoming Basket Bundle is a Level 2, beacause it includes the Blossoming Basket Stamp Set and the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. You can earn that with a $100 order. (Or, spend $150 and get both PLUS Stampin’ Rewards!)

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
