Lots of Lavender
Lots of Lavender was the first Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration set I pre-ordered. I love lavender, and this set is so lovely. It’s also a perfect set to use with the new Stamparatus, because you can set up all the pieces on the four stamping surfaces. It’s a snap to create multiple cards with this set.
Measurements and More
For this note card, I cut a 4-1/2″ x 6″ piece of Whisper White Cardstock, then scored the 6″ side at 3″ to create the 3″ – 4-1/2″ card. Because I was using the Stamparatus, I wasn’t hesitant to stamp right on the card. I placed the lavender bouquet outline stamp on one suraface and stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink. Then I placed the lavender on another surface and stamped in Perfect Plum Classic Ink. The leaves and stems were placed on another surface and stamped in Garden Green Classic Ink, and the bow was placed on the final surface and stamped in Crushed Curry Classic Ink. Easy!
A Little Tip
Although it’s really easy to see where you’re stamping with the photopolymer stamps, I still miss the mark sometimes. So before I stamp on cardstock, I test my stamp placement in the Stamparatus with the Imaging Sheet from the Stamp-a-ma-jig. If you don’t have one, any clear, non-porous material will work – window sheets, our cellophane bags, or even vellum.
The Sentiment
For my sentiment, I used the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set and Duet Banner Punch in Perfect Plum. Thoughtful Banners is a wonderful set, because you can mix and match to get almost any sentiment you want. With the coordinating Duet Banner Punch, it’s easy to create a lovely banner with your choice of sentiment.
Get this Set Free
If you order the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set, the coordinating Duet Banner Punch, the Basic Black Archival Stamp Pad (because this is a neccessity!), and the Crushed Curry 3/8″ Mini Chevron Ribbon I used on this card, you can select any Level 1 product as your free gift. This products will work wonderfully with almost all of the Level 1 Sale-a-bration products! And what’s better than free, right?
One Last Thing
I used the Envelope Punch Board to create an envelope for this card. It’s perfect for creating envelopes for up to 66 sizes of cards! Add it, Whisper White Cardstock, and the three ink colors I used for this card, and you can select a second Level 1 Sale-a-bration product or a Level 2 product – free!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
