Bubbly Thanks

I’ve used the Brusho Crystal Colour for backgrounds and for painting an image. Today, here’s a card that uses it as an ink pad.

Behind the sparkly bottles of refreshing goodness, you’ll see watercolored bottles. That’s the Brusho. It’s so fun – simply sprinkle Brusho Crystals on a bottle stamp from the Bubble Over Stamp Set in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog spritz with water, and then stamp on Watercolor Paper. I think I only sprinkled one time, and I was able to get five bottles out of one “inking.”

I used Prussian Blue for the bottles. Then I diecut two bottles (and some labels) using the Myths & Magic 6″ x 6″ Glimmer Paper (Turquoise and Light Green) and the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits Dies.

I added a few bubbles in Smoky Slate to the background piece, then adhered the bottles and labels. I used a hot glue gun to add the labels to the bottles, since it’s hard to get other adhesives to stick to the glimmer paper.

Pacific Point is one of the colors I don’t use a lot, but it looks lovely with Lemon Lime Twist (my card base). To mimic the bubbles on the card, I embossed it with the Polka Dot Basics Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, then layered it and the stamped layer to the card base.
