Bubble Over Birthday

My friends Susan and Jackie have been doing such cute things with the Bubble Over bundle from Stampin’ Up! that I had to treat myself. I haven’t spent a lot on stamps and supplies since the Occasions Catalog came out. Speaking of sweet, after I decided to make a birthday card with the bundle, I had to wonder what took me so long to order this bundle. So fun!

You can see Susan’s and Jackie’s influence in the Wood Textures and Color Theory Designer Series Paper, as well as the colors (Bermuda Bay and Lemon Lime Twist, specifically).

I had so much fun making this card. Amelia was painting while I was working. I turned around to see what she was doing at her craft table, and she had painted all of her fingernails (and fingers) black. She also painted one of her little ponies black. Hmmm – I wonder if someone has been playing The Rolling Stones around her?

To create this, simply stamp the smaller bottles from the Bubble Over Stamp Set onto Whisper White Cardstock. I die-cut the labels and bottle caps from Champagne Foil Sheets, because I couldn’t find my silver. Then I stamped for you on Whisper White with Berry Burst and die-cut for part of the labels.

The bubbles are die-cuts from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper using the Bottles & Bubbles Framelits Dies (you’ll want to bundle the dies with the stamp set so you can save 10%. And you need both. Trust me!) The “condensation” on the bottles are Glitter & Clear Epoxy Shapes. So cute!
