Sweet Season

Sweet Season

Here’s one of the cards we made at December classes. It uses the Hometown Greetings Edgelits in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog, and the Oh, What Fun Stamp Set from the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

Oh What Fun, Stampin' Up!

Because the edgelit didn’t touch any edges, it left the card intact. This created kind of a “faux eclipse” card. I backed it with a piece of Crushed Curry Cardstock and added a couple pieces of the Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals under the houses and trees. The “in between parts” are adhered flat to the Crushed Curry Cardstock.

Because I wanted the stamp to be in two colors (Crushed Curry and Elegant Eggplant), I colored the stamp from Oh, What Fun with Stampin’ Write Markers instead of stamp pads. The card base is Elegant Eggplant.

Athough this is a holiday card, it can be changed a little for other occasions. I had one card pack leftover (I always make an extra set, just in case). I used the same idea, but made a card for Mike to give his clients when they close on a home. This sentiment is from the Home Life Stamp Set in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog.

Home Life, Stampin' Up!

Although this card looks difficult, it was probably the easiest one we made at the class. It was super easy and fun!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a lovely day!
