Berry Sugarplum Tulips
I love the Tranquil Tulips hostess set in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. It’s a two-step set and very artistic looking.
I stamped the smaller, darker image first in Berry Burst. I find that if I stamp the darker image first, it’s easier to line up the lighter one – which is Sweet Sugarplum. Then I stamped the stems in Garden Green. I love this combination!
Because I had stamped on Whisper White, it looked a little stark, so I sponged the background with Soft Sky. I wasn’t sure I could get close enough to the tulips without muddying the petals, so I stamped the larger images again in VersaMark and clear embossed them. Then I could sponge my heart out!
There aren’t any sentiments in the Tranquil Tulips set, so I grabbed Thinking of you from Colorful Seasons.
Double the Fun!
Tranquil Tulips is an exclusive hostess set. That means, you can only get it with Stampin’ Rewards when you host a party. Now is the perfect time to have a party, because not only will you get fabulous hostess rewards, you’ll also get the Merry Patterns set as well if your party totals $300 or more (before shipping and tax).
But hurry! This promotion is only good through October 31.
Discounted Stamp Sets and Free Designer Series Paper
There are lots of ways you can reach the $300 minimum workshop level to get the free Merry Patterns. First – there are a lot of products that will be offered at a 15% discount for World Cardmaking Day. From October 1-10, these products will be on sale.
Did you get the part about the two free Fast Fuse Adhesive refills? Nice!! And why are they suggesting coordinating Designer Series Paper (DSP)? Because you can get a FREE package of DSP when you buy three others in October. And even paper stacks and specialty paper are included this year.
Double up on the World Cardmaking Day and B3GO specials to save even more money. And – did you notice the set I used for the sentiment on my card – Colorful Seasons – is also on the sale list? In fact, almost every set on that list is on my stamp shelf. They’re all such fun and versatile sets.
But Wait, There’s More!
The Paper Pumpkin Kits in October and November will have coordinating projects and cards that will make your holiday crafting a lot easier. You need to subscribe by October 10 to get both kits, and if your holiday preparations are as hectic as mine, help with crafting is a definite, “Yes, please!” If you host a party before October 10, your guests can combine the World Cardmaking Day sale items, plus free designer series paper, plus pre-paid Paper Pumpkin kits to help you host a successful party and earn lots of Stampin’ Rewards (including the Merry Patterns set).
Contact me today to schedule your party. We’ll have fun – and you can even have it at my office, so all you have to do is invite a bunch of friends and bring simple snacks. Easy!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
