Diamonds, Daisies, and Fresh Figs
I played with the new embossing paste from Stampin’ Up! today, and it is just as fun as I thought it would be. If you missed the “introductory video,” you can see it in yesterday’s blog post.
Using the Embossing Paste
I decided to add a little Fresh Fig Classic Ink Refill to mine, as well as a pinch of Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter. What fun! There’s just a little sparkle and shimmer without being overly obnoxious, I think. Take a look. (Disclamer: The glitter doesn’t show up really well in the photo. But in real life, it’s quite nice.)
I only used part of the mask, because I didn’t want to cover the entire card. I used one of the Pattern Party Decorative Masks and one of the palette knives to mix and spread the paste. It takes a few minutes to dry – but it does dry quickly. So when you finish with the Embossing Paste, clean your mask, palette knives, and whatever you used for a palette. I used the Silicone Craft Sheet. Then work on other parts of the card. By the time you’ve finished, the paste will probably be dry. It takes about 5 minutes or so.
It’s all about the Daisy
I stamped the daisy from Daisy Delight in Calypso Coral, then colored the petals with Daffodil Delight classic ink and a Blender Pen. So many delightful flowers in our line-up this year. Of course, there’s a coordinating daisy punch, so making the flower was a snap. You can order the products separately, but if you bundle the stamps and punch, you’ll save 10%.
Aren’t you loving the gold and silver Faceted Gems and the Glitter Enamel Dots? Yes, well, demonstrators loved them too. We loved them so much that between the OnStage “Product Purchase Premier” and the pre-order period in May, we bought a year’s worth. Seriously, we bought them out. But the good news is they’ll be back in the warehouse very soon, so you can still order them. And if you love Stampin’ Up! products as much as I do and want to be one of the first to order new products, consider joining my team of demonstrators. You’ll enjoy a discount on your products and you can earn free product as well as extra spending cash. You can work as much or as little as you want, because it’s your business. And if you only want the discount for own purchases, that’s fine too. You don’t need to “do workshops” or classes, although it’s fun to meet new people and share what you love to do.
Earn Free Product
Another great way to load up on free product is to host a party. Invite some friends, fix some snacks, and I’ll bring the rest. And if your party totals $350 or more in June, you’ll earn an extra $35 in Stamping Rewards.
Contact me today to schedule your party or to find out more about becoming a demonstrator. You can leave a comment here, or email me – buffycooper (at) hotmail (dot) com.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
