Hello, Sunshine
This was what we said every day while we were on vacation. “Hello, Sunshine!” Of course, we were in the Sunshine State, so we expected nothing less. Even on cloudy days, it was still warm and there were periods of wonderful sunshine. And then we got back to Virginia. I was hoping we’d bring some of the warmth and sun back with us, because we had heard it rained almost every day we were gone. And today is cloudy as well. Come August, though, we’ll be whining about the heat and lack of rain. You just can’t please some people.
The Memories & More Card Packs from Stampin’ Up! are sure to please, however. (How’s that for a segue?) They’re beautiful – and they coordinate with Stampin’ Up! stamp sets, colors, and designer series papers. It’s so simple to use them for Memory Keeping – either pocket or traditional – as well as cards and other projects.
This is a quick card I made while we were gone using one of the cards from the Color Theory Memories & More Card Pack. I stamped Hello from the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set on a scrap of Color Theory Designer Series Paper, then die cut it using the Bunch of Banners Framelits. I die cut sunshine using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits from Basic Black Cardstock, then simply layered and adhered all the elements. Easy! I added a couple of the new Glitter Enamel Dots to the banner and some Crushed Curry 3/8″ Mini Chevron Ribbon the card to dress it up a little.
Be sure to add one of the Memories & More Card Packs to your next order. You’re going to love them, I know. The double-sided cards are sized to fit in our Photo Pocket Pages, but they’re perfect for traditional memory keeping as well. The best thing (I think) is that there are two of each card, so if you love both sides, you don’t have to choose which one you want to use. Or, if you’re like me, you don’t have to hoard it, because there’s a duplicate.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy! Have a wonderful day.
