Oh So Eclectic
Another sneak peek for you. This is the last one, because tomorrow you can order from the new Stampin’ Up! 2017-18 Annual Catalog. If you need a catalog, let me know. I’ll be back from vacation this weekend, so I can mail them when I get home.
I won the Oh So Eclectic set at OnStage Local in Richmond. It was a “Prize Patrol” prize. Judy and I had the same badge, so she got it too.
We had so much fun! I can’t wait to see what Judy does with this set. I love her projects. She made hundreds of swaps for OnStage, and she shared some with me. They were all so beautiful.
Oh So Eclectic is a two step set. You can stamp the outside in a darker color, then the inside of the flower (or leaves) in a lighter one. But I went a different route.
I stamped the flowers in Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Ink (after stamping off one time) on Watercolor Paper. Then I colored the flowers with Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write Markers and an Aqua Painter.
After the flowers dried, I added the leaves, also in Lemon Lime Twist. I pulled a little color from the flowers and leaves so it would be a little messier, then let it dry again. It sounds very labor intensive, but it really wasn’t. And it dried very quickly.
After everything dried, I colored some Bermuda Bay ink around the flowers and leaves, let it dry, and then stamped the sentiment from Daisy Delight. After adding a strip of Berry Burst to the side of the watercolored panel, I layered it to a Powder Pink card.
Remember – this is the last day to order from the 2016-17 Annual Catalog and the 2017 Occasions Catalog. If there are still products you’d like to order, be sure to place your online order today!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
