Memories & More
I love fussy cutting and water coloring and adding lots of extra “touches” to cards, but sometimes you just need something quick and simple. And that’s where the “more” in the Stampin’ Up! Memories & More card packs comes to your rescue.
This is one of the cards from the Color Theory Memories & More card pack that will be in the 2017-18 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. They coordinate with the Color Theory Designer Series Paper Stack and the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set. The stamps have a coordinating set of thinlits, Seasonal Layers, and you can bundle the stamps and thinlits to save 10%. (Shameless Self-Promotion: I used all these products in the June Bonus Project for Craft Project Central. Look for it toward the end of June!)
For this card, I simply stamped the sentiment from Toy Story, er, Bella & Friends (currently available and carrying over), added a strip of the new “Basics Pack 1 Washi Tape” (more on this later), and layered it to an Old Olive card. Easy! And now, hopefully, you’ve got the song running around in your head too.
Now, about that washi tape…This year, the washi tape offering is a bit different. In the past, each pack coordinated with a different Designer Series Paper (DSP), but this year, only one – Pick a Pattern – coordinates with the DSP. The other three sets are “Basics Pack 1, 2, and 3.” Each set has the same pattern, but different colors, and all the colors are gorgeous! They are very fresh and fun. I’m drawn to the Basics Pack 2, because it has Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist, as well as Daffodil Delight, Garden Green and Old Olive. It’s a very summery group. The Basics Pack 3 would have been awesome for the birthday card Katelyn made for Wesley (if you missed it, you can see it here), because it’s all blues – Bermuda Bay, Dapper Denim, Island Indigo, Night of Navy, and Pool Party.
The pack I used (Basics 1) was in my box of products for my display board, and it was perfect for the projects I made with Amelia in mind. I made a fairy wand for her, and used it on several cards, tags, and her scrapbook page. The colors are Berry Burst, Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Melon Mambo, and Rich Razzleberry, perfect for a little girl who loves pink and purple! (I’ll post my board tomorrow.)
Hope you have a wonderful day. If you are celebrating Memorial Day in the US, please take a minute or two to remember the brave men and women who served and died for our country, and be thankful. Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.

Toy Story was the first thing I thought of, when I read the sentiment, Buffy! 🙂 Too funny. This bundle is on the top of my list – thanks for sharing!

Thanks, Deborah! I totally forgot we weren’t supposed to show this until June 1. OOPS! I’ll save the others for later. (It’s a GREAT bundle!)
