Make & Takes from Stampin’ Up! OnStage 2017

OnStage 2017, Stampin' Up!

I’m going to try not to show you too many sneak peeks until later in May, because there are so many fun products still available in the 2016-17 Annual Catalog, I don’t want you to miss them. But, as seems to be the norm around here, life has gotten in the way of my crafting, so I’m falling back on projects we made at Stampin’ Up! OnStage.

We had a wonderful mix of styles and products, and for the first time, I got all my products finished! Our table seemed to flow really well together, so it was easy to finish. I also think we had more time this year.

This is another set using the Birthday Delivery Bundle (Birthday Deliver Stamp Set, Birthday Friends Framelits and Birthday Memories Designer Series Paper [DSP]) that I used yesterday.

How cute is this little guy? The fox and banner are part of the Birthday Memories DSP. Didn’t I do a fabulous job of fussy cutting? NOPE – the Framelits match the DSP as well as the stamp set. That’s one of the most exciting things about the new 2017-18 Annual Catalog.

This is the Daisy Delight bundle (Daisy Delight stamp set and Daisy Punch). I love using punches, because they’re so quick and easy. We stamped and punched two for the card to make it more full. This also uses the Delightful Daisy DSP, Gold Faceted Gems (love them!), and Daffodil Delight 1/4″ Double-Stitched Ribbon.

Here’s a card using the Colorful Seasons stamp set. The large flower and “DSP” are part of the Color Theory Memories & More Card Pack, and the ribbon is one of the new 3/8″ Mini Chevron Ribbons (in Crushed Curry).

And finally – the 3-D project.

The sentiments and images on the note cards are from the Wood Words stamp set, and the paper is part of the Wood Texture Designer Series Paper Stack. So beautiful! And look at that little crate! It’s die-cut, using the Wood Crate Framelits Dies. I can see lots of possibilities with this. Before I adhered the little piggy in this post to the larger card, it fit perfectly in the crate. Who wouldn’t love a little crate full of piggies? One of the other products in this bundle that I LOVE is the 1/4″ Copper Trim. You can see it

The note cards and crate were packaged in a cellophane bag with linen thread and the new 1/4″ Copper Trim. You can see it in the top photo. It’s gorgeous!

So there you go! A few sneak peeks for you. I’m always sad to see some of my favorites retiring, but – wow! – there are so many wonderful new products that I wasn’t sad for long this year.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!

They were really fun this year. I think my favorite is the Birthday Delivery bundle. I love the images, and having the framelits coordinating with the paper is a huge plus!
