Delicate Details

Delicate Details

I can’t believe another week is almost over. The weekend flew by. Mike & I, along with several of our nieces, a nephew, and Jon, have been cleaning out Mike’s mom’s house so it can be sold. Good news – the closing is scheduled for Friday!

We filled a truck with items that can be auctioned, and the rest was discarded. Interestingly, even though there were some things in the house that were brand new and others that were valuable, the kids took very, very little. They all wanted to see the things that might be worth selling go to the auction house to give their grandma a little extra cash. Are these great kids, or what? Most of the things they claimed were simple mementos – like knick knacks their grandma had made herself and they remembered seeing all their lives. Four of them took days off work to help clean out the house. I was touched by their selflessness, and I fell a little more in love with all of them, if that was possible!

Of course, Monday and Tuesday, my darling Amelia was visiting, so I didn’t get a lot of crafting done. And today was errand catch-up day (and more “house clearing”) – followed by a wonderful evening with Amelia at Chuck E Cheese’s. She has so much fun there. She doesn’t need to play any of the games; she just likes to look. And she LOVES to dance with Chuck E Cheese when he is live.

I wanted to share this little gem with you, though. One of the very popular Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration items is Delicate Details. This is a set of five photopolymer border stamps. It’s one of the first ones I ordered. Check out these ideas.

How clever is this? Stamp the borders on Very Vanilla cardstock in different colors of ink, then die cut with an open die and add it to a card. Easy – and very elegant and cute. It’s like making your own Designer Series Paper!

This one uses the stamp as an embellishment. Simply stamp and emboss along the edge of a banner. How much easier could that be? (Love that little clip, don’t you?)

This set can be yours FREE during Sale-a-bration. For every $50 you spend in current product from the Annual or Occasions catalog, or from pre-paid Paper Pumpkin kits , or products from the Clearance Rack, or other online products, you can select a free Sale-a-bration item. You can order online, or email your order with contact information for payment to buffyc3(at)hotmail(dot)com.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
