Stamp-Off Tic Tac Toe

Stamp-Off Tic Tac Toe

Stamp Off New Logo

It time for another Friday Stamp-Off with Susan, Jackie, and me! This week, it’s a Tic Tac Toe challenge.

How fun is this one? I had a hard time choosing, because every line looked like fun. But I finally chose to use the far right vertical line – Washi Tape, SAB, Watercolor.

Tasty Trucks, Stampin' Up!, Sale-a-bration

I decided I needed to ink up my Tasty Trucks set that I got free during Sale-a-bration. This is a fun set, because you can make it any kind of food truck you want – hot dog, taco, ice cream, pancake!!, cupcake, hamburger – or you can simply stamp a fun sentiment in the window and let the recipient’s imagination go wild.

My truck, of course, is a cupcake truck. I would LOVE to have a cupcake truck on the corner – but then I’d weigh about as much as the truck. I stamped my truck and cupcakes in Basic Black Archival Ink, then colored them with our fabulous new Watercolor Pencils and Blender Pens. Sadly, our pencils are not available right now, but hopefully, inventory will catch up soon. They are so fun – and so easy – to work with.

I added Pop of Pink Designer Washi Tape to the edge of my stamped layer, then popped half a Metallic Foil Doily behind it. The Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper worked wonderfully with my design, so I added a strip of that and some Brights Enamel Shapes for a little more color pop.

I wanted the front windows and headlight to look like glass, so I squeezed a bit of glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. For good measure, after it dried, I painted on a little Clear Wink of Stella. Here’s a close-up.

I just realized – our local group of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators has another tic tac toe challenge this month – and this card fits one of the lines for that one as well. It’s stretching it – but the line is Red or Pink (Melon Mambo, check!), Silver (doily, check!), and Hearts (one enamel heart, check!). I’ll try to create another card before our meeting, but if I run out of time, I’m ready!

Check out what Jackie & Susan chose to use for their challenges this week. I’m always WOWed by their creations, and I know you will be, too.

Don’t forget to place your order today from the new Occasions Catalog as well as the Annual Catalog. You’ll be able to select a free Sale-a-bration product for every $50 you spend! And new products will be coming February 21.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a sweet day!

Buffy, what a delightful truck. I too, would only consider a cup cake truck! Love the frosted windows hint!!! I would not have thought of that, but it is a requirement I believe, for this image!!

I need to get this stamp set inked up. I love what you did with it. The sparkly window idea is awesome! Now, I would rather have an ice cream truck then cupcakes. Good thing there are no food trucks around here so I, too, would weigh as much as the truck! Very cute card!
PS: Happy Anniversary from your favorite rebel! ❤️🎉🎈

Thanks, Susan! It intimidated me a bit until I finally inked. I wouldn’t mind an ice cream truck as well. Maybe cake and ice cream! Happy anniversary!! We love you for your rebelliousness.

Your truck looks as yummy as the cupcakes, Buffy! Thanks for sharing the tip about the fine tip glue pen – I’m going to try that out on my next truck. 🙂
