Happy Celebrations

Happy Celebrations

Stamping is always an adventure at our house. First, Miss Amelia has discovered my stamp room, and she loves finding new treasures. She thinks photopolymer and clear mount stamps are “stickers,” and she sticks them to everything. So far, I’ve only lost one small flower. And, of course, we had a lovely day when she learned how to open a container of gold glitter. It’s been over a month and we both still sparkle.

And then there’s the cat. She has learned to climb up on my stamp table. She likes to snatch sponges and chew them up, so I have to be sure to keep them out of her reach – at least for now.

Still, my helpers make me happy. And speaking of happy…

Stampin' Up!, Happy Celebrations

This card uses the new Happy Celebrations set. I had fun playing with this one. I stamped the “Happy” in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on Whisper White Cardstock, then stamped it again with Basic Black Archival Ink on Watercolor Paper. I colored the ones stamped on watercolor paper with Stampin’ Write Markers and an Aqua Painter, then cut them out and layered them to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped “birthday to you!” in Versamark and embossed with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and stamped the splatter image over it with Watermelon Wonder ink. Finally, I added a strip of Tasty Treats Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Watermelon Wonder layer, and attached it all to a Crushed Curry card.

If you order the Happy Celebrations stamp set and a set of Aqua Painters, you can select a free Sale-a-bration item. From now through March 31, you can select a free Sale-a-bration product for every $50 you spend. And it’s a great time to host a party or join my team! You can even use your Stampin’ Rewards to pay for all or part of the Starter Kit. Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!

Buffy, love this card. The raised watercolor letters are beautiful and then to have the splatter below is great. Sounds like your stamp room helpers are going to give you a run for it!! You need to stain up all of your photopolymer stamps so that you can find them!
