You Lift Me Up, You Party Animal!
It’s been another amazing weekend! I spent Friday morning with Miss Amelia before taking her home to play with her daddy for awhile. We had dinner with Mike’s mom at her assisted living facility later that night, then picked up Amelia for a sleep-over. Wes had scheduled a trip to New York City on Saturday, so we were happy to take the little girl for the night so he could get up at 3 a.m. to meet the bus.
Steph picked up Amelia late Saturday morning, and I was supposed to craft. Instead, I got hooked on a book series (and a nice, long nap after the sleepover!), so I got very little done. This is going to be one of those weeks where we have some of those “just add a little water” meals for dinner so I can catch up.
Our Christmas concerts with the Oratorio Society went really well this weekend. There were a few hiccups, but overall, it was pretty amazing for a group of non-professionals! Big shout-out to our conductor, George Amos, for his ability to pull the very best from a group of amateurs. And a HUGE thanks to all who came out to support us. Having friendly faces in the audience means more than anyone will ever know.
I do have a little sneak peek for you today. I created this card at one of our craft times. Most of the products are from the new Occasions Catalog, which you can order from beginning January 4.
Don’t you just love that hot air balloon? The framelits make it so easy to create a custom balloon. I die-cut the balloon “outline” from Emerald Envy Cardstock, then die-cut the colors from cardstock that coordinated with the Party Animal Designer Series Paper (Crushed Curry, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango). And, of course, the set and framelits are offered in a bundle to save you money.
This set is so versatile. It can be a “pick-me-up” card or a birthday, anniversary/wedding/valentine, or a thank you. I opted for a thank you card, because I need those the most.
Don’t forget about the Year-End Closeout Sale, with discounts up to 60%! You’re going to want to stock up on some supplies. And if you have crafters on your gift lists, pick up a few items for them as well.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
