Double Gel

One of the fun perqs of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is getting to see the new catalogs (and some of the new products) early. And by early, I mean really early.

#OnStage2016 attendees had the privilege to receive the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-bration Catalog live and in person. Plus, we got to see the new products – and we had the opportunity to play with some of them. AND we were allowed to order them almost two months before the sales period starts. Woooooot!

Of all the Sale-a-bration items that will be offered FREE next January, the “Hey Chick” set spoke to me the loudest (even with the missing comma after “hey.” What can I say? I’m a grammar geek.). And specifically, the chick with the crazy hair.

Since you maybe haven’t seen the catalog, here’s a peek at what I’m talking about.

Oh, I can relate to that chick so much. I have a routine when I’m getting ready for the day – shower, gel hair, use deodorant, moisturize face. Somehow, I got off course (I had a lot on my mind), and I couldn’t remember if I gelled my hair. So I gelled again. I know it was “again” because when I finished drying and styling my hair, I looked very like Roseanne Roseannadanna. Ugh! Fortunately, I didn’t have to go anywhere today, because my car was in the shop. So I was able to brush and tuck and smoosh before people saw it. It still didn’t look good, but – hey – no one but the cat and dog witnessed the horror. The dog was too excited about treats and his new bone (which is about three years old) to notice, and the cat is a cat. Cats don’t care about anything that doesn’t relate to them.

This set will be free during Sale-a-bration 2017. I know, it’s a long way away (less than two months, but in “stamping hours,” that’s a long time), but you can start planning for it.
