Stamp-Off Friday – Pick Your Fave!
It’s Friday – and that means another Stamp-Off with Jackie, Susan, and me. This time, we’re showing our favorite Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog favorites.
My Holiday favorite changes every day. There are so many products that I love – Jar of Cheer, Merry Mice, Santa’s Sleigh, the Copper Foil Sheets, Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper, Ribbon Trio Pack…Well, you get the idea. But the first time I looked at the Holiday Catalog, the Christmas Magic set grabbed me. I love vintage, and I love watercoloring, so this was a win/win for me!
I used some leftover card stock pieces from this month’s classes for this card. Everything was cut and ready, and all I had to do was stamp. Love those leftovers, don’t you?
I stamped the snowman and sign post in Jet Black StazOn, then colored with Stampin’ Write Markers. I added a little Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details to the snow, and then I stamped a border using the Timeless Textures set. Of course, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake are my “go to” vintage colors. I sponged the edges with a little Sahara Sand.
For the sentiment, I punched to Real Red banners with the Duet Banner Punch, then stamped “Merriest Wishes” on one. I clipped the edges, then mounted the stamped piece to the full banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I had so much fun with this challenge, and I know Jackie and Susan have something amazing for you. Check out what they created – and if you have a minute, create a project with your Holiday Catalog favorite. If you don’t have a catalog and would like one, give me a shout! I’ll get one in the mail for you.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend! We’re having a rainy one here in Virginia. Wowzers! It’s been a little heavy at times. My stamp room got a little damp, but nothing bad (and nothing important got wet. Yay!).
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy! Have a wonderful day!

Beautiful card Buffy. I love the punched sentiment in red and the Timeless Textures addition. So sweet and sentimental.

Thanks, Jackie!! I enjoyed the challenge. The hardest part (as you and Susan also mentioned) was deciding on a favorite!

Beautiful colouring on the snowman, post and wreath, Buffy! The Timeless Textures around the edges had me fooled – I thought they were wreaths! I’ll have to remember your tip to pop up the punched banner for extra dimension 🙂
