Stamp-Off Challenge – Tag! You’re it!
It’s another Stamp-Off Friday! I love these challenges with my friends Jackie & Susan. They really stretch me creatively, and they’re fun as well!
This week’s challenge is a “tag” challenge. Here’s the inspiration banner.
And here’s my entry for the challenge.
I decided to make two tags, because one just seemed too easy. I used the Cheerful Tags Framelits Dies from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog for the tag bases. One of the tags has a circle opening so it can go over a bottle. I used that one for the shaker tag.
After I die cut the tag from Silver Foil, I die-cut the back again from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, then sponged it with Rich Razzleberry ink. I cut a 2″x 2″ window sheet, then added Foam Adhesive Strips around the circle. After I added a sprinkle of Fancy Frost Sequins, I used hot glue over the adhesive strips so the window would adhere to the glimmer paper. I used Christmas Greetings Thinlits to add a Silver Glimmer Paper “jolly” to the front of the tag. And, of course, both tags use the 3/8″ Glitter Ribbon Combo Pack.
For the “Cheers” tag, I die cut the tag from Sweet Sugarplum card stock and stamped the sentiment on the front in Rich Razzleberry ink. I die-cut the swirls and the “grate” piece from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper and added the Sweet Sugarplum glitter ribbon. On a whim, I added some retired Clear Dazzling Details over the stamped image.
This combo makes gift giving so easy! The tags are so easy to make – and fun to customize if you want.
So now, check out what Jackie & Susan have made. I love checking in on Friday mornings to see their creations!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!

Thanks, Jackie! I was hoping the adhesive stirios would stick to the glimmer paper, but, no. sigh
