Jar of Cheer

Jar of Cheer

Are you ready for another Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek? Our Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator team challenge this month is a color challenge. At our last meeting, we decided to use colors we hadn’t used for awhile – and add new In Colors as well. The colors for the challenge are – Tempting Turquoise, Smoky Slake Rose Red, Garden Green, and Peekaboo Peach. Crazy combo, right? We only needed to use three of the colors, and we could add any others we wanted. Here’s the card I created.

I used the Jar of Love and Jar of Cheer sets for this card, as well as the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies. I stamped the image from the Jar of Cheer set in StazOn on Watercolor paper, then colored with Stampin’ Write Markers (Peekaboo Peach, Tempting Turquoise, Smoky Slate, Rose Red and Garden Green). Then I stamped the jar image from the Jar of Love set in Smoky Slate and die cut it using the Everyday Jars Framelits Dies.

For a little bling, I added some Silver Sparkle and Gold Glitz Dazzling Details to the images.  I love the look and ease of glitter glue!

I also added a strip of Fancy Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper to the card, sponged with some more Garden Green ink. And then I added some 3/8″ silver glitter ribbon over it. And for a final touch, I stamped merry from Christmas Jar onto the panel.

So there you go. I used all five of the challenge colors and gave you a sneak peek from the upcoming Holiday Catalog (you can order from the Holiday Catalog beginning September 1). You’re going to love the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. There’s something for everyone in this catalog –  cute, vintage, punches, framelits…I love it!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
