You’re going to love the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. There something for everyone – cute, vintage, stuff to watercolor, bold stamps that don’t need watercoloring, sweet, scary, spooky. I had a hard time limiting myself to my budget. (So, what’s new, right?)
One of the fun projects is a tag stamp and coordinating framelits that you can use for gift giving. Ummmmm, did I mention Christmas is just around the corner? Yeah. You have 122 days until Christmas, so it’s time to get shopping and stamping and baking and creating!
I’m going to use the “Here’s to Cheers” bundle for my October project for Craft Project Central, so keep your eyes open for that! They show it with a bottle of wine, but you can use it for so much more – like baked goods, candles, cards, gift tags, and – well, you’re just going to have to look for my post in October!
Here’s a video with Donna (one of my faves at Stampin’ Up!) so you can see what the bundle includes.
Be sure to check in tomorrow for our latest “Stamp-Off Friday” challenge. I’ve had my project ready for a month or more, and I’m so excited!
So here’s my latest with Miss Amelia. I won’t post a picture, because…well, she’s almost naked. I don’t want to exploit her nakedness on the internet. She didn’t want to get dressed today. Usually when I ask what she wants to wear, there’s something that she’ll say, “YAY!” to. But today? Today, she didn’t want to wear clothes. Most of the day she had on her diaper and shoes. And, of course, she added accessories. She found the pearls her mommy had for the photo shoots at her birthday party, so she accessorized her, um, nakedness with pearls. And lip gloss. A girl has to have lip gloss, right? What a hoot! And we learned the letter “R” with fun pirates from Sprout. Amelia kept looking at me today and saying, “Arrrrrrrr!”
Whenever her daddy sees her, he says, “Hi, Bubba!” (I keep telling him she’s a Bubbette, not a Bubba, but he doesn’t listen to me.) So when I ask her, “What does Daddy say?” she’ll answer, “Hi, Bubba!” If I say, “Hi, Bubba!”, she’ll answer, “Hi, Daddy!” How brilliant is that girl? (Yes, I am a doting grandma. She could sit in a corner and drool all day and I’d still post pictures and talk about how smart she was.)
Hope you’re having a wonderful week! Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy!
