Swirly Bird Stamp-a-Stack
True confessions time. When the 2016-17 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog launched, I ordered the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits. They’re so cute – and you can do so much with them. But I didn’t order the coordinating Swirly Bird Stamp Set. I didn’t think I needed it or that I would use it that much.
And then I created a project for a color challenge (you can see it here), and it just needed something. I had ideas, but my friend Liz said, “You have to use the Swirly Bird sailboat.”
“But, Liz,” I replied, “I don’t have the Swirly Bird Stamp Set.” Liz was adamant. And, as it happened, she had the set with her that day. And, as is always the case, Liz was right. The sailboat made the project, I think.
Of course, the Swirly Bird Stamp Set went on my next order. *sigh* Have I mentioned Liz is an enabler? But I’ll be using it a lot over the next year (or more, if it carries over!).
Stampin’ Up! demonstrators gets lots of perks. We get to preorder products from catalogs a month before the catalog sales period. We get a discount on our purchases (which is why I signed up), and we get access to lots of ideas. These are just a few of the benefits, of course, but the ideas come by way of the Stampin’ Up! demonstrator web site, the Stampin’ Up! forum, the Stampin’ Success magazine, and the “Succeed Weekly” email. The email today included a video of a quick and easy Swirly Bird Stamp-a-Stack. It’s so easy to create cards that are “one-0f-a-kind,” but without the stress that sometimes accompanies stamping “one-of-a-kind” cards. When you’re stamping for therapy, you don’t need stress. This video shows how you can create adorable and individualized cards for family and friends and have fun doing it!
Check out the video, and then put the Swirly Bird Bundle on your next order. You’ll save 10% if you bundle, so don’t do like I did and pay full price by ordering separately!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
