Oh Happy Weekend!
What a wonderful weekend this was! First, I made jelly with Mom on Friday. What fun! The only other time I tried to make jam, it ended up “peach butter” because it didn’t set. It was still delicious, but I really wanted jam. This time, Mom and Dad had picked some black raspberries, and we made black raspberry jam. I’m happy to say, it wasn’t butter! The consensus from all the kids (and Mike & me) is – AWESOME! Thanks, Mom, for the guidance! I couldn’t have done it without you!
Then, I got to play with Miss Amelia Friday night while her parents went out to dinner. She had a late nap, so she was ready to play! I told her that her great grandparents had seen a bear a few days before, so she learned “how the bear goes.” Too cute! We had a blast playing outside – blowing bubbles and watering plants. Adrianna was here for the weekend, so Amelia had fun hanging with “the big girls!”
On Saturday, my friend Christy and I went to a Scrapbook & Stamp Expo. It was so much fun! I spent way too much money, but I’m super happy with all my purchases! And we got to do seven make & takes.
Today I did a little stamping, a lot of gardening, and got to swim and soak up some sun. What a perfect weekend, right? But there’s more! I also participated in an online convention. Fortunately, the classes were recorded, so I can watch them later. I’ve already caught up on some, and they were fantastic! When I finally got a chance to log in, the first thing I saw was a prize patrol – and I won a stamp set that I want but haven’t bought yet.
I don’t think the weekend could get any better. So here’s a card to celebrate the weekend.
This is a color combination from last weekend’s “Virtual PJ Party.” It’s Dapper Denim, Watermelon Wonder, and Cucumber Crush. Fun! I used one of the Scenic Sayings stamps (this was my “Prize Patrol” free set from OnStage Live in April). So fun!

Thanks, Deborah! It was a fabulous weekend! The Creative Convention Online was with Ronda Wade. I’m still watching some of the recordings, but everything so far has been very useful!
