Beary Love

Beary Much Love

When I became a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator way back in the early 2000’s, Button Bear was a very popular set. He was a cutey, that little Button Bear. And then Stampin’ Up! retired him for Bow Bear. Bow Bear was also very cute, but, sadly, she also retired one day.

At OnStage Live 2016 in Salt Lake City, we were introduced to Baby Bear, and I fell in love.

Baby Bear, Stampin' Up!

Isn’t that the cutest bear ever? When my order from the Stampin’ Up! 2016-16 annual catalog arrived, Baby Bear was the first thing I inked up. It’s so life-like. Baby Bear is a photo-realistic stamp, and it’s a 3-step stamp. I inked the first (solid) layer with Tip Top Taupe. For the next layer, I used Soft Suede, and for the final, most detailed layer, I used Early Espresso. We have some stuffed bears in our house that look just like my little Baby Bear.

I cut Baby Bear out with my Paper Snips, added him to one of the new Delicate White Doilies (love them!), then added a bow stamped in Garden Green and Wild Wasabi. I added the sentiments to a block and stamped them all at the same time in Early Espresso. How easy is that?

This set looks like it’s for babies, but it can be for weddings, anniversaries, thank you cards, and just thinking of you cards. It’s more versatile than you’d think.

Do add the Baby Bear set to your next order, and see how many possibilities you can come up with. You’ll be amazed! Need a 2016-17 Annual Catalog? Let me know and I’ll get one to you!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!

I just want to give that baby bear a hug, Buffy! He’s on my ‘to order’ list (what isn’t?!), and now the new doilies are, too. Thanks for sharing 🙂
