Stamp-Off Friday – Color Challenge
I love “Stamp-Off Fridays. This week’s challenge is a color challenge, and it’s all about the new Stampin’ Up! 2016-18 In Colors.
These are the new In Colors for 2016-2018. For our challenge this week, we had to use the new In Colors – but we didn’t have to use them all together. These are all great colors, but I really don’t think they play well together as a group. It’s kind of like a big family. Some of the kids get along at one time, and some don’t. But there’s always someone you can play with.
Have I mentioned I had a wonderful childhood? I loved both my brothers so much. My older brother was my idol and the one I wanted to be like. And my little brother thought I was the best ever (how can you NOT love a sibling who thinks the sun rises and sets with you?) – and we both had overactive imaginations, so we got along great. And that’s how the new In Colors are. Some are super imaginative and creative, and some are solid and consistent. And they’re all awesome colors!
So …. here’s my challenge card for this week.
I used three of the new In Colors – Emerald Envy, Peekaboo Peach, and Flirty Flamingo. A Core Color add-in was Calypso Coral.
I stamped the swoosh stamp from Painter’s Palette in the Calypso Coral, Peekaboo Peach, and Flirty Flamingo. Then I added the sentiment in Emerald Envy. For just a final touch, I slapped on a strip of Playful Palette Designer Washi Tape to the edge. Super quick and easy – but super cute, I think!
Now – take a peek at what Jackie and Susan created this week. I know you’ll be blown away; I always am.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
