Awesome, Amazing You!

Here are the other three cards I made for Steph to give her co-workers. I’m so happy that she asked me to make them using Stampin’ Up! supplies instead of buying a canned card in a store. Not that there’s anything against mass produced cards. But when you hand-craft anything it’s just a little more special, I think.

Here’s a shaker card using the new Confetti Celebration stamp set and Foam Adhesive Strips. I love these! I’m going to be making a lot more shaker cards now! I used the Stars Collection Framelits for the shaker part, then added it to a card using Hello Honey, Rich Razzleberry, and Sweet Sugarplum. The last shaker card I made, I added too much confetti, and it didn’t shake really well. I decided to add some of the confetti to the card this time.

This card uses Marquee Messages – a new Stamp Set from the Stampin’ Up! 2016-17 Annual Catalog. I did a bit of paper piecing here. The top layer is Melon Mambo, so I colored the You Are with a Melon Mambo Marker (the letters are open). I also added some Gold Wink of Stella to the light bulbs on the arrow, and some Clear Wink of Stella to the stars. (Don’t tell Mike I called them “light bulbs.” He used to work at the GE Lamp Plant. What we call “light bulbs” are really “lamps.”)

This is my favorite! I used Cucumber Crush with Night of Navy and  added some copper embossed butterflies. The Kinda Eclectic stamp set is returning for at least another year. YAY! I haven’t gotten enough use out of it. And did you see that Washi Tape? It’s the Affectionately Yours Designer Washi Tape from the new Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. I love it! The bottom piece is actually copper and white.
