March Demo Challenge, part 2

Here are the last four projects from our March demo meeting. The challenge for March was to design a project for a shoebox swap that would take no longer than seven minutes and would include at least one retiring In Color.

Playful Pals, Stampin' Up!

Chris’s Project

How cute is Chris’s lion? She used Hello Honey and Chocolate Chip. Isn’t he just adorable? Amelia and our cat Ashlynn both though so. In fact, he was a lot cuter before they got their hands and paws on him. His mane is a bit thinner and more disheveled now, and he used to have little ears. But wouldn’t these make super sweet favors for a birthday party?

Heartfelt Sympathy, Stampin' Up!

Jennie’s Card

Jennie used the Heartfelt Sympathy set with Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss. I love the little pop of doily on the card. And the linen thread in the button pulls the Crumb Cake card together with the bold colors, I think.

Flowering Fields, Stampin' Up!

Sandy’s Card

Sandy used the Flowering Fields Sale-a-bration set. Even though the card is Lost Lagoon (and the Pool Party Glitter Ribbon goes so well with Lost Lagoon!), the pop of Tangelo Twist really stands out.

And finally, Christy’s card.

Stampin' Up!

Christy’s Card

Christy’s card has no stamping! She used Mossy Meadow and Hello Honey with the Circle Card Thinlits and Lovely Lace embossing folder. The Botanical Gardens designer series paper and linen thread pull it all together.

We have a very talented team, don’t you agree? All the projects were very simple (and a lot of the work was done ahead of time so we could get finished in seven minutes), but they were all so pretty.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy! Have a wonderful day!
