Splattered Rainbow Birthday

In the 2015-16 Stampin’ Up! Catalog, there are several stamp sets that coordinate with card kits.  You’ll easily know which sets they are, because they’re named for the kit – Tin of Cards Stamp Set, Cottage Greetings Stamp Set, Sweet Stack Stamp Set, Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp Set… Many people don’t realize that you can use these stamps for other projects as well.

My favorite is the Perpetual Birthday Calendar set. Or maybe the Tin of Cards set. But the Perpetual Birthday Calendar set has these adorable small images that are so fun.

Perpetual Birthday Calendar, Stampin' Up!, Balloon Celebration

I used the splatters to create a rainbow, then added a balloon and sentiment from the Balloon Celebration set from the Occasions catalog. I hand-drew the balloon string with a Basic Gray Stampin’ Write Marker, because I didn’t want to stamp it through the sentiment.

This was super easy and quick. Just be sure to clean your stamp between each color so you don’t have a muddy rainbow. I added some Crystal Effects to the balloon, just to give it a little more interest and pop – at least “in person.”

Another fun stamp set is the Party Pants set that you can get free – but today is the last day! Be sure to place your Sale-a-bration order by 11:50 MT tomorrow to get your free products. For every $50 you spend, you can select a Sale-a-bration product. And, of course if you join my team, you can select $155 in products for your starter kit for only $99. PLUS you’ll get a lot of business supplies – catalogs, postcards, order forms and more. Don’t wait until the last minute; order or join today!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy! Have a wonderful day.
