Pedal Pusher

Yesterday we said, “Goodbye,” to three 2016 Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration products – the Sky Is the Limit and Hello stamp sets, and the beautiful Perfectly Artistic designer series paper. These were great products, and I’m sad to see them go. But – there’s good news.

Beginning today, you can add three new items to your qualifying Sale-a-bration order! There’s the Pedal Pusher stamp set, Party Pants – another really cute set that coordinates with the Balloon Bouquet punch! – and Metallics Glitter Tape. So fun! I’ve already used the tape on several projects. That glitter does not come off – so there’s no mess. You get three rolls – one silver, one gold, and one white. The white takes color really nicely, so you can have glitter tape in any Stampin’ Up! color. Simply sponge with a sponge dauber, or spritz with ink refill and alcohol. Easy!

Enough jabbering. Here’s a peek.

How cute is that? The stamp set is photopolymer, so you can see exactly where to place the different stamps. I embossed the bike on a piece of the Botanical Gardens Designer Vellum Stack, then colored it with markers. The vellum is white, but I decided to sponge it with Cucumber Crush ink. I loved the design on the vellum sheet, but in white it looked too much like snow. Everything white looks like snow to me these days.

I’m officially tired of snow. We had our third for the year last night and today, and it turned into ice at the end. I know, I know. Some of you are laughing and saying, “three snows? Only three and you’re tired of snow?” Yep. It didn’t even take three. After the second day of the first one (which was 3′ all at once), I was done. The second one was kind of lame. I don’t think it even stuck to the roads. But this one with the ice is a mess. Tomorrow, though, the temps are supposed to be in the 40s and 50s, so it should be gone in a flash. Hopefully we won’t have any flash floods to go with it!

There are actually four Sale-a-bration products on this card. The Pedal Pusher stamps, the vellum, the metallic tape, and Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper (dsp). I thought the little dandelions would look cute behind the vellum. I glued the vellum to the dsp with Multipurpose Liquid Glue under the bike. I also folded the metallic tape behind the dsp to give it a little more security. I need to add an embellishment to the top of the card so I can hide another bit of glue there.

Remember – for every $50 you spend through March 31, you can select a free Sale-a-bration product! Here’s everything you can choose from. And if you join my team during Sale-a-bration, you can select $155 in product for only $99. There are lots of benefits to being a demonstrator. My favorite is the ability to preorder product a month before the sales period officially begins. Of course, there’s the discount, the friends you make, and the thousands of ideas you have access to – and a whole lot more. Leave me a comment if you want more information or sign up here.
