I am always so proud of myself when I can schedule several days of blog posts in advance. I know I’ll have a post at 6 a.m. and I won’t have to worry about getting up early – or staying up late. And then the last one posts and I think, “OH NOOOOO! I don’t have anything to show tomorrow.”
That happened this week. I was wondering what I was going to share today, since I didn’t get a chance to stamp yesterday. I had a class in the morning and Miss Amelia all afternoon. It’s hard to stamp when she’s here, because she’s so cute and I just want to play with her. And because she pilfers things. But mostly because she’s cute. Her newest thing is to say, “Oh, nooooo!” whenever anything goes wrong. The dog has his foot on her blanket and she can’t move? “Oh, nooooo!” She’s out of peas? “Oh, nooooo!” She dropped a toy under the coffee table? “Oh, noooo!” It’s adorable. And I didn’t realize how often I say, “Oh, nooooo!” until she picked it up.
Anyway – at class yesterday, my dear friend Christy placed four cards on the table beside me. Christy is a demo friend who joins us on craft day, classes and demo meetings. She keeps me on track and organized – and she keeps me supplied with projects and ideas.
Here’s one of the cards she brought for my display board.
Isn’t that beautiful? This is a set from the Occasions catalog, “In the Meadow.” The images are stamped on Watercolor Paper and then colored. I love how the deer just stand out. And those majestic purple mountains in the background! I sing America, the Beautiful in my head when I see it. Seriously.
I have a lot of cards on my boards that need to come down because they use products that have retired, and Christy is awesome at bringing me new ones to fill in the blank spots. Her ideas are always fresh and fun.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a beautiful day!
