Wonderland, Stampin' Up!

You don’t have to use Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog products for holidays! I wanted a simple card that could be used for lots of occasions – sympathy, birthday, thinking of you, and more. First, I inked the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with Tip Top Taupe ink. I used a brayer and inked the “debossed” (indented) side. Then I inserted Very Vanilla card stock into the folder and ran it through the Big Shot. Result – the trees stay Vanilla, but the background is Tip Top Taupe.

I stamped the Wonderland trees three times in Mossy Meadow without reinking – once in the center, then once on each side. I die-cut the image and the Mossy Meadow layer with the Ovals Collection Framelits.

The final touch was to add a sentiment, and I went with my standby – Word Window Punch on the Washi Label Punch.  The card still looked a little empty, so I tied a bow in Tip Top Taupe Dotted Lace Trim and glued it to the card with a little dab of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Can you believe it’s almost November? I can’t. I’m looking forward to getting my hour back Saturday night/Sunday morning, though. It’s really hard to get up in the dark. And the leaves here in Virginia are absolutely beautiful now. I love autumn in the east!

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
