Peaceful Wonderland

Wonderland, Christmas Greetings

Here’s another Wonderland card for you. I stamped the trees repeatedly in Basic Black archival ink. Then I simply sponged different colors over the trees. I used Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Elegant Eggplant, Night of Navy and Basic Gray archival. I’d love to give you a magic sponging formula, but really, I just keep adding color and blending it together until I get something I like.

For the snow effect, I splattered some Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details/water mixture with an aqua painter, then sprinkled Silver glitter over it.

“Peace” is die-cut using the Christmas Greetings dies and Silver Glimmer Paper. (I think this is the “old” silver. The new Silver Glimmer Paper is a little darker.)

I love the simplicity of this card. It reminds me of the quiet when the snow is falling at night.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful, peace-filled day!

What a beautiful card, Buffy! The colours are gorgeous, and the word ‘peace’ suits it perfectly. It reminds me of when the snow is falling, muffling all the sounds….lovely!
