Watercooler Wednesday Challenge

Watercooler Challenge, WWC35, Stampin' Up!

We have a fun Watercooler Wednesday challenge for you this week. It’s “Anything Goes.” It can be a card, a 3-D item, a scrapbook page…anything you want. You can showcase a new (or old!) technique, make it a birthday card, anniversary, wedding gift. Simply put – you can do anything you want!

Here’s what I made.

Awesomely Artistic, WWC35, Stampin' Up!

I used the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits to create a treat pouch from Vellum Card stock. Then I stamped the floral image from Awesomely Artistic in Versamark and embossed with silver powder. Because that wasn’t enough sparkle, I flicked some Silver Sparkle Dazzling Details over it and then added silver glitter. (Have I mentioned I’m addicted to the silver and gold Stampin’ Glitter?)

I die-cut “For You” from Blackberry Bliss card stock, then stamped the dragonfly in Lost Lagoon. It was very easy to “fussy cut” the dragonfly, since we don’t have a die-cut for it. And, for a little more sparkle, I added more Dazzling Details to the dragonfly. A little strip of Everyday Chic Washi Tape helped hide some of the glue. And I have these pretty sequins on my stamp table. I think they’re from a kit, but they looked wonderful with the silver and vellum, so I added them to the pouch as well.

Inside the pouch are a few 3″ x 4″ Mint Macaron note cards with envelopes.

This makes a wonderful gift! The pouch can be reused after the cards are gone.

Now – try your hand at the Anything Goes challenge. There’s wonderful inspiration from the other designers on the challenge blog. Add your link by noon MT on Monday, September 28, and you could be the “fave” this week. We have a cool new badge you can add to your blog or web site.

Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy.  Have a wonderful day!
