This is a first for me! I wanted to enter the Fab Friday Challenge again, because I really enjoy their challenges. The challenges are two weeks, and they alternate between color challenges and sketch challenges. With my schedule, I’ve only been able to enter the color challenges – which is weird, because sketch challenges have been my favorites.
The colors this time were Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, and Soft Suede. Doesn’t that just scream fall? While I was thinking about the challenge, I realized I have a Demonstrator meeting next Monday, and I gave everyone a “Tic Tac Toe” challenge. One of the rows was “Glitter, Punch or Die-Cut, Leaves” – and that seemed to go very well with the color challenge. Wooohooo! I can get two projects done with one. And then I remembered the Craft Project Central Sketch Challenge. It’s such a fun one this time, but we’re running out of month. So this is the first time I’ve entered one card in more than one challenge.
Here are the three challenges. But, really, only one counts, because the Demo Challenge is a private one. But feel free to use the Tic Tac Toe board for inspiration. And since I’m a designer for Craft Project Central, mine doesn’t count as a “challenge entry” there either. But it was fun combining the three!
Here’s my card.
I stamped the Vintage Leaves in Soft Suede on Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. The smallest leaf was stamped in Rich Razzleberry on Old Olive. After I die-cut them with the Leaflets Framelits, I covered them with Crystal Effects and then sprinkled a little Gold Stampin’ Glitter over them. Can I say that I’m addicted to the Gold and Silver Stampin’ Glitter? and the Gold and Silver Metallic Thread. They just add that “little something” to any project.
I’m really happy with the way this turned out. So try your hand at the challenges! You have until the end of the month to add your CPC51 challenge. If your card is the randomly chosen winner, you get a free 1-month subscription to Craft Project Central. I think the Fab Friday challenge ends October 1 – and if your card is chosen as one of the Fab Faves, you can put their super cool badge on your blog!
And here’s the reason I sometimes take Saturdays and Sundays off from blogging these days.
I love crafting, but I love playing with this little girl more. She’s so much fun! I love watching her learn and think and figure things out. She’s so amazing and, of course, the most brilliant baby ever born. As my Jonny said, “She’s so perfect.” I agreed, and then said, “But that’s what we said about you – and your brother, too!” She absolutely loves playing in the laundry basket – which is fine, because it keeps her from dumping the dog’s water bowl over herself. She’s walking and talking and curious about everything – and it’s hard to get a good photo, because she isn’t still for very long.
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!

Thanks, Susan. And, yes, the time has flown. I can’t believe how much she’s grown and changed in a year.

Holy glitter Batman! The leaves look awesome and what a great idea to use the CE and glitter! Such a different look than embossing with gold! Thanks for sharing at Fab Friday!
