Here’s another card I made in the motel last week. I used the Timeless Elegance Designer Series Paper, and there was very little stamping. I simply colored the flowers with Night of Navy, Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive and Crushed Curry ink. Done! It’s such a simple way to make a beautiful, elegant card.
Before I layered the paper to the Night of Navy card, I splattered with a little multipurpose liquid glue and water using an aqua painter. Then I sprinkled a bit of Gold glitter over the glue. And, of course, I tied a Sahara Sand lace trim bow around it. I had a little wooden butterfly left over from the Watercolor Wishes kit, I thought he’d look really pretty on the flower. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from Fabulous Four on Very Vanilla card stock in Night of Navy ink and notched one end to make a banner.
Tomorrow, I have a video for you! It’s a quick one, but has some fabulous tips on how to get a good image from a photopolymer “solid image” stamp. It was done by my friend Priscilla Ivler. I was so impressed by her ideas that I asked permission to share. So check back in tomorrow!
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
