I’ve been playing with different ways to color the Stampin’ Up! Vintage Leaves, and had a few left from another project. And I’m working on a gold 3-D project, so painted the leaves with the leftover mixture (you’ll see it Sunday!). This is the result. I haven’t had time to do anything with them yet, because they were still drying. And this has been a crazy day! First, I realized I have lost my wallet. I don’t lose things, so this totally threw me. I have absolutely no idea where it could be. I’ve checked the cars, the house, the kids’ house, the yard. I’ve called various places where I remember having it. So far – no wallet. So if I don’t find it at the office tomorrow, I have to start canceling cards and ordering new cards and licenses. Ugh. Not my favorite thing to do. So I need some glitter and glitz in my life right now.
I’ll wait until the Sunday Watercooler Challenge to give you details for this, but in the meantime, you’re going to want to order some gold and silver stampin’ glitter! It’s the best – and there are so many things you can do with it. My favorite is to splatter with Dazzling Details (or Gold Glitz or Silver Sparkle) and water, then sprinkle gold or silver glitter over it. Gorgeous!! At least, it was my favorite until I made the challenge for Sunday. I can’t wait to show you!
While we’re talking about fun stuff – check out the Stampin’ Up! weekly deals this week.
Ribbon, ribbon, ribbon!! And punches for ribbon. And darling In Color embellishments which are so cute! I bought double, because I know my Stephanie is going to want to make earrings with them.
And – check out the Clearance Rack beginning August 5, because Stampin’ Up! is adding more discounted items!
Here’s the other reason I didn’t do much in the stamp room today. I was playing with this little cutie.
Miss Amelia is getting so big! I can’t believe she’ll be a year old this month. We visited her great grandparents today (I call them, “Mom and Dad”) and she had such a good time going through the toy box. There are so many treasure in there – old toys from her grandma and great-uncles, and from her dad and Jon and other second cousins. The “bongo racquets” are her faves! And there was a bonus today! My older brother’s oldest daughter is visiting, so Amelia got to meet my amazing niece Beth. My dad is the oldest of his generation, and Mike (my brother) is the oldest of our generation, and his daughter is the oldest of that generation. And Miss Amelia is the second oldest of her generation. So today was kind of historic, right?
Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy. Have a wonderful day!
