Amelia has the cutest little outfit. The top is Coastal Cabana with Whisper White polka dots, and the skirt is Night of Navy. I’ve been wanting to use those colors since I first saw her in this dress, so today I made this.
I used a sponge dauber and Whisper White craft ink to make the polka dots, then embossed them with white embossing powder. The image is from the Cheerful Critters set in the Occasions Catalog. (Hurry! This set will be going away June 2!) I colored the bunny with Smokey Slate, Coastal Cabana and Pink Pirouette Stampin’ Write Markers, then added a little Night of Navy seam binding ribbon.
I love the versatility of this card. It could be for a birthday, but it could also be for an anniversary, the last day of school (always a happy day!!), a graduation, or just a fun day. I may send it to Mom, because I know her happy day is coming soon. She’s cleared to drive and resume any activities she feels up to, and only has a few more therapy sessions. I’m so proud of her and how quickly she recovered from the surgery.
Hope your day is a happy one! Thanks for stopping by Stamping with Buffy,
Oh my – Miss Amelia is such a happy bunny! (and a cute one, too!) I notice that her pillow looks like the retired Betsy’s Blossoms, Buffy! How do you manage to coordinate your house and granddaughter in SU! ?? 😉

Oh, my goodness, Deborah – I never even noticed the pillow. You’re right! I’ll have to compliment Steph on her good taste. (Of course, she’s an artist, so it’s not surprising.)

The card is gorgeous, but unfortunately for that bunny, it cannot compare to Amelia’s amazing adorableness!

Yeah – Poor bunny. None of the cheerful little critters can compete with that little girl.
